The real name of Toltec is Daniel or as it’s correctly pronounced in Russian - Danila. He was addicted to electronic music since 1997. His favorites at that time were Robert Miles, Dj Quicksilver, Da Hool, Klubbheads, Snack, 666 and other guys which have been popular at the world’s club scene at the moment.
Daniel became totally trance-addicted in 2003. He opened this amazing dance music genre after listening few compilations mixed by Ukrainian DJ Chief MC, called Euro Trance. At the same time he realized that this is the style of his heart, and he started to write his own productions. Since 2003 he had written a lot’s of tracks and remixes which were supported by a many local DJ’s and radiostations, but most of them were still amateur quality tracks.
In 2007 Daniel starts to produce professional quality trance productions. He met Eugene Bednik, owner and Head A&R at Abstraction Records, and released his first digital single: Afterglow. Next year he had yet few releases including his first vinyl release: Afterglow (Remixes).
At the time Daniel keeps working in his favourite styles, Uplifting and Progressive Trance and writing tracks and remixes to be released on several European labels.
Daniel plays guitar and piano.
He had also written several articles about the music creation for a local electronic music magazine, called “dj.am”. He’s working in a Game Development industry, producing video games.
